Each Julius-K9 harness has two straps:
- Chest strap
- Strap under the belly
When putting on the dog harness, the straps must be adjusted so that they are neither too loose nor too tight. If the straps are left loose, the dog can easily get out of the harness backwards, and if it is too tight, it can rub its skin. Therefore:
- The chest belt should be adjusted so that four fingers fit comfortably between the dog's front leg and the strap under the belly
- The strap under the belly is of sufficient width if we can slide our palm under the harness on the dog's back
The straps only need to be properly adjusted once, during subsequent use, the dog harness can be fastened or released with the help of the break-proof buckle on the strap under the belly.
